The Louisville Zoo Will Be Rockin’ June 25 for 2nd annual WAKY Rock N’ Roll Reunion Concert

Get ready for a trip back in time as the best of the 60s and 70s Louisville Rock ‘N Roll bands get together for one huge concert at the Louisville Zoo’s Oasis Field at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25.  The concert is free with Zoo admission or Zoo membership.

The WAKY Rock ‘N Roll Reunion brings together…

  • Butch Kaufman & Friendz
  • Doo Wop All Stars
  • Epics
  • Crushed Velvet
  • Sherry Edwards
  • Cosmo and the Counts
  • Soul Inc.

All current and former WAKY and WKLO on air folks have been invited.  The legendary Bill Bailey “The Duke of Louisville” has indicated that he will be in attendance.

Guest may bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.  No tents or canopies allowed.

No alcoholic beverages or glass bottles permitted.  Food and beverage concessions will be available for sale including the famous “Ranch Burger”, the first and most popular “double-decker hamburger” in Kentuckiana.

The concert is presented by WAKY Radio, Ken Towery’s Tire & Auto Care and Neil Huffman Nissan.
