BORDEN, Ind. - (June 30, 2009) – Representatives from the Town of Borden along with the Koetter family have scheduled a press conference to announce the purchase and renaming of the former Kimball International manufacturing plant. The facility contains 400,000 square feet and will be named Borden Business Park LLC.
The news conference will take place on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. on the grounds of the facility at 555 East Water Street in Borden.
The property is expected to accommodate a number of tenants where the former manufacturing facility operated until it closed in April 2009. “We are thrilled to see a recently vacated property be repurposed in Clark County,” said Michael Dalby, president and CEO of One Southern Indiana. “In today’s economy, it is always a positive step in the right direction to see new ideas and more growth in Southern Indiana’s business community.”
